At Hemley Road Church of Christ, we believe in the power of community and faith. Our mission is to spread love and acceptance to all who walk through our doors.

We are a small congregation with a big heart. We love helping our brothers and sisters in our town of Bayou la Batre and host groups from other states who want to come and help in our community. We would love for you to join us and help make our congregation grow. ALL are welcome.

Sunday Worship

Connect with God through our Sunday Worship service. Join us to experience spiritual growth and fellowship (Sun 10:30 am- Sunday School 9:30 am.)

 

 

Bible Study Groups

Deepen your faith and build relationships through our Bible Study Groups. Join our group today to grow in knowledge and community. Bible study is Wednesday at 6:00 pm and Thursday morning at 11:00 am. We provide a meal for everyone Wednesday night and Thursday before bible study.

 

 

Community Outreach Programs

Make a positive impact in our community through our Outreach Programs. Get involved and spread love and support to those in need. We have work crews that we host at the church that work in the community for the elderly, disabled and ones who just need a blessing.

What time does your Sunday Worship service start?

Our Sunday Worship service starts at 10:30am every Sunday. All are welcome to join us. Sunday School starts at 9:30 am.

How can I join a Bible Study Group?

To join a Bible Study Group, please attend, everyone is welcome. Meals are served Wednesday evening before service and before Thursday morning Bible study which starts at 11:00 am. Bible studies take place in the fellowship hall behind our church building. If you have any questions, please call Billy Spaulding at 251-776-0468.

What kind of community outreach programs do you offer?

Our community outreach programs include initiatives to support local families in need, and food drives. Get involved and make a difference!. We have groups from other states and other churches that come to work with the community. The elderly, disabled and the financially challenged who need help cutting grass, minor home repair, food ect. get the help they need by contacting us at 251-776-0468.

We also have a food giveaway at the childrens place one day of every week. If you need help with food, the Childrens Place is located at 8720 Downey St. Bayou la Batre, AL. 36509.
